2011年4月13日 · I agree with the statement that the reflash was intended to work with the TSB and will make the situation worse if done on a car that already has a starting issue. Considering VW's complete inability to do things correctly the first time around, this doesn't surprise me. There should be a note to the techs to do the TSB when flashing a 04 car.

2009年5月10日 · Bump to an old thread, but I am still having the stupid 16705 G28 speed sensor fault even after replacing the sensor. Now its getting really hard to start and throwing a OBD code for it. I am going to try cleaning the ground for it next. If that doesn't fix it, it must be a wiring issue somewhere. Wasn't there a TSB is this issue from VW?

2024年6月7日 · 16705 Engine Speed Sensor G28 in engine, tcu shows 00529 Engine Speed Signal Missing 01166 Engine Torque Signal No Signal. Drove it into the shop, replaced the G28, now crank no start, code 16705. Installed another new G28, crank no start, code 16705. Reinstalled original G28, crank no start, code 16705.

2010年7月19日 · 16705 - engine speed sensor - implausible signal. This only occurs on cranking - once running there are no apparent issues. I have checked continuity to the signal pin on ECU pin 8 - checked sensor and main earth to the other pins, cleaned the earths, changed the sensor - the battery is a good one (800 CCA) and is fully charged.

2013年12月11日 · after my car still not starting still, im getting the 16705 aka crank sensor fault Ive got a vw crank sensor which is new from Volkswagen direct, but still getting the code and non start problem (with bouncing RPM needle) so i took it back to vw and they scoped the crank sensor and checked the engine timing both are fine.
