2017年7月28日 · To step a .50 BMG case down to .177, one would need four reamers to make three dies to step down the case neck (.50-.40-.30-.20-.17) along with four reamers to thin the case neck for every step down. The seating die can be made from the last forming die if one is making just one cartridge.

2023年10月9日 · I am happy to say I finally bought a 50 bmg. Now I'm just waiting for it to get to the ffl. I have always wanted one I probably won't shoot it much but one thing I am going to do is shoot a tree down with it it's one of the things I have always wanted to do.

2003年2月24日 · There are already commercial rifles and equipment using the 50 BMG necked down to 375. The State Arms sells a nice looking rifle for about $1800. I have a video that they sent me. Shows them shooting a pig. Killed it, too. They also sell the regular 50 BMG rifle. My old room mate has a nice single shot rifle in 50 BMG and I've shot it quite a bit.

Anything that would chamber a 50 bmg cartridge (it was narrowly defined by dimensions) was a 50 bmg rifle and was added to the CA assault weapons list. If it was registered by a certain date, then it could be kept. Police and military as exempt of course. It always kills me when a law is passed banning (or de-facto bans) weapons but grandfather ...
