2013年11月24日 · I really like my tikka T1x 17 hmr, and shoot it far more than any .22. I have a TBAC, Mask, Sparrow, and EA NYX 2. They all work fine on it. Before I got the NYX, the TBAC was the favorite hands down. Fair bit lighter than the rest. Can’t go wrong with it. The NYX 2 is lighter still, modular, 100% TI, same suppression to my ear, and same cost.

2009年3月23日 · Re: 17 HMR Suppressor The main issue with 22lr through a sealed can is the bullets being lead will have some of that lead be melted off and deposited in the suppressor. 17hmr uses jacketed bullets so that should not be a problem. As far as baffle design it has mostly to do with pressure at the muzzle as to what type of baffles works best.

Before I got the Gemtech, I used my SWR Wolverine .223 can on it. Sounded ok behind the gun, fellow shooters said the .17 sounded louder than the .223 did with the same can on.

2021年4月25日 · I own that suppressor too, and would be sorta surprised if it was rated for 17 Hornet as it is pretty darn light. But stranger things have happened. I have been wrong many times…it appears some people on the web have used that combo. The 17 Hornet is WAY more ballsy than 17 HMR, for those who may not know.

I didn't have a threaded .17 HMR already and the aggravation of having an existing barrel threaded just turned me off. So, I did some research and narrowed it down to a Savage FV-SR variant in either the 93 or B series or a Ruger Precision Rimfire.
