The Brembo 17Z caliper is an excellent upgrade to a number of Audi and VW platforms, especially the B5 S4 and A4Q, the B6 or B7 A4Q, or the VW Mk5 or Mk6 Golf or Jetta in all their variations, as these calipers are built to accomodate a 330mm rotor, which is noticeably larger than the stock rotors that came on any of those cars.

2020年3月28日 · Since I don't want to lose my 17" wheels I decided to go with the 17z caliper front brake upgrade. While the rotor size is only 330mm vs 345 mm for a stock R going from a caliper with two pistons to six is significant.

2012年4月25日 · -There are two types of calipers 17z for 330mm rotors and 17" wheels, and 18z for 350mm rotors and 18" wheels. -You also have to consider spoke clearance as the large calipers stick outward much farther and can contact your spokes. -2008 GL 450 rotor specs, these are the rotors to use with 18z calipers.

2002年3月10日 · I had problems when I did the front calipers upgrade (17z 6 spot). After bleeding twice with a bleeder tool, and using VCDS to bleed ABS pump, the problem was solved, and I feel the brake pedal exactly as it was with the oem calipers.
