2013年10月9日 · intel mb use xmp profile to set the ram speed to 1866. use cpu-z click on eprom/spd tab in the xmp profile tab write down the speed the ram set to run at. in the bios under dram speed change the ram speed there. on some of the newer amd mb they have there version of intel xmp profile.

While running RAM at a lower speed will prolong its life, if the RAM is rated to run at 1866mhz then it'll still last longer than you need it. Almost all RAM has a life time warranty, bar a faulty piece, it shows you how confident the manufacturers are with its lifespan.
