2010年8月5日 · When you're looking at a 190E race car, the real difference is the motor, trans, and rear diff. The fender flairs are different, but under that is a regular 190E fender, correct? I won't have to go to Timbuktu and pay $300 for a new fender if I bend one.

This car was built for the EP class, I wonder if anyone has heard or known the driver or the racing team.

190E采用前麦花臣、后多连杆式的悬挂组合，这是全球第一款多连杆量产车型，而对手宝马E30 3系，当时还是用半拖曳臂形式的后轮独立悬挂。 如果单从技术先进性而言，W201在底盘部分暂时领先。 但奈何它空重更大，到了2.5-16V Evolution II时候已经达到1340公斤。

2002年10月24日 · I am in the process of building a suspenion for our '84 190E to allow us to run the car in SCCA high-speed stage rallies.

My goal is to slowly turn it into an early DTM replica ('86-'87 seasons) for use in VARAC Group 70+ and other vintage racing. I may also enter it in NASA GTS and possibly SCCA. The bulk of the build is being done by Guten Parts + Service (GPS) in South Orange, NJ. The car is going to race under the "GPS Motorsport" banner.
