2016年7月7日 · I personally loved mine. Other than regular maintenance it was very reliable. My dad was very meticulous about air filter cleaning, regular piston & ring changes, oil changes, etc. We never even had a problem with the wheels. We raced my 1984 YZ125 for two full seasons with nothing more than regular spoke tightening.

2009年12月23日 · I currently own both a 1982 and 1983 YZ125. The 1982 is a great bike. I've raced it a handful of times in past couple years. Motor is very competitive. Setup your suspension and you'll love it. The heavy front end feeling of the radiator goes away quickly once you start riding it hard. I picked up my 1983 a year ago and have one race on it.

2011年1月19日 · Aluminum swingarm and shock from a 1982/83 Yamaha IT175 is a easy conversion. For some reason the IT175 rear axles are hard to find, you can also use a rear axle from a 1980 YZ125. 2014年9月5日 · Chassis / suspension wise, the 83-84 was an improvement over the 82. Unfortunately, the engine package for the 83-85 YZ125 was sad.
