2020年6月29日 · Looking for some help on a 1999 FXR2 carburated Evo with no spark. I have replaced cam sensor (OEM 32448-95B) and the ignition module (OEM 32449-95c). Have swapped coil with known good coil. Still nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Simple things first is there power to the coil?

2016年5月18日 · You can disconnect the negative side of the coil and use a jumper wire from there to ground with the ignition on to check for spark. That bypasses everything except the spark plugs. You'll want to have a spark tester in series with the plug and plug wire to observe spark then just tap the jumper to ground several times.

2016年3月29日 · I checked spark by holding plug wire 3/16 or less away from head (plugs still in) and cranked it, no spark. I check ground strap for ig mod (computer control module), batt, and motor, all good.

2015年4月20日 · Well, I'd make sure there's voltage to the coils, then remove and replace the plugs, (in case they fouled when cranking the engine over). Remember you need the plugs in to check spark, really best to use an in-line gap to check spark.

The module was fried, and I replaced it with a new one, the same thing happened the second time, the turn signals, brake lights, dash lights all still work, and the engine starter still turns over, but of coarse there is no spark with the module being fried. There have been no electrical mods done to the bike.
