The 1AD Division Sustainment BDE is prepared to deploy and provide support to units world-wide. The officers, non-commisioned officers and Soldiers of the 1AD Division Sustainment BDE are professional, skilled warriors who contine to set the standard every day.

In January 2019, the 1AD CAB, as TF Iron Eagle, deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. As the largest task force within the CJOA-A, TF Iron Eagle flew 58,000 combat hours conducting aerial reconnaissance, attack and lift operations in support of Resolute Support partners and Afghan forces.
