2023年2月6日 · The 1JZ is very potent and strong but it is not an engine that spools turbos quickly. 700whp is absolutely possible on an internally stock 1JZ-GTE but it takes more than just a big ass turbo - you will need a fuel system, intercooler, cams, clutch, exhaust, and ECU that can support that HP level too.

2006年11月7日 · People have run 1100+ hp on a stock 2JZ, with 1JZ numbers not far behind. It's the same engine, with a shorter stroke. Both engines will be identical to install difficulty wise. The 2jz usually came with a 6 speed (V160), which is a lot of money to find one. If you want to go 5 speed, you'll be using the R154 with 1JZ bellhousing.

I plan on adding 2jz cams, a boost controller and running pure e85. then see if I can up the boost to about 28psi The intake was a custom piece made locally, the revs are insane!
