Dec 6, 2018 · Back in July I was looking for a 1p87 optic, but most places were only selling the PK120 at an exorbitant price which, to the best of my knowledge, was essentially a consumer oriented version with a couple more brightness settings, but much lower durability.

May 30, 2024 · Yesterday I received my novus precision PDS1, which is a clone of the russian 1P87. I was thrilled with the form factor and function after mounting it to my M85 sbr and running ~100 rounds through it today.

Jun 5, 2024 · Update on my arrival of the 1p87 clone! Very surprised on receiving it! The body is made of an aluminum with epoxy finish and feels very solid. I forgot to take photos of my shots at the range (100m target at 25m indoor range) but all rounds were very consistent.

Besides, you could always engrave and color fill in the 1P87 markings and no one would be the wiser (: *btw if you wanna pair up a maggy with this, gotta go with smol maggies cuz this thing takes up about as much space as an eokek 512.

Contrary to popular belief You can fit mlok to basis perfectly. Whatever you are going to attatch to basis, shave the guide ridges on that so it’s completely flat then fit the mlok nuts in through the other side of the rail and being patient stick the bolt through while holding the mlok nut with something such as an Allen wrench and thread it through tightly and it’ll fit perfect to basis

May 26, 2024 · Novus Precision PDS-1 (1p87) Thoughts on this optic? Looking online seems to be pretty solid for what it is, and personally I find it an interesting red dot and am considering picking one up for around $270 to throw on my 103.
