The Toyota UR engine family is a 32-valve dual overhead camshaft V8 piston engine series which was first introduced in 2006, as the UZ series it replaced began phasing out. Production started with the 1UR-FSE engine with D-4S direct injection for the 2007 Lexus LS.

The 1UR-FE is a Toyota's 4.6-liter entirely aluminum V8 engine. It replaced the old 2UZ-FE engine offered basically in Toyota's trucks and pickups (Toyota Tundra, Toyota Sequoia, Toyota Land Cruiser, etc.).

2011年11月9日 · Here are the 3UR-FE (should be the same as the 4.6L 1UR-FE) and 2UR-GSE ports. The 3UR is slightly smaller and has a peanut shape, it measures about 61 mm x 30 mm at the wide points in the height. That shape probably boosts velocity at lower RPMs, and as far as I have researched, all UR engines except the 2UR-GSE have this peanut shape.

2011年11月9日 · We are also looking at the stock 3UR tri y exhaust manifolds being installed on the 1UR, which has terrible log style manifolds. They are likely the first step in getting the 4.6 going in the right direction.
