2012年6月28日 · it's definately a 1uz automatic bellhousing. which is correct for this swap. If someone had used a w59 bellhousing it would be a disaster waiting to happen.

2017年8月30日 · The factory W59 five-speed automatic transmission was mated to the V8 thanks to a modified bellhousing. It was upgraded with a QMI hydraulic throwout bearing, OS Giken flywheel and clutch. This allowed the truck keep the transfer case and 4WD. For more photos and details please read the build thread. 2020年5月29日 · The W59 trans can handle somewhere around 250 ftlb torque well enough, but beyond that it gets sketchy. Best bet would be an 'R' trans from a 7MGTE powered Supra or the Getrag from the back of a 2JZ. Might think about the trans from a 1GR or 2GR Taco. 2013年3月5日 · I know Smythers put a 1uz infront of a w59, but there is about 50 ft lbs difference in the 1uz and 2uz. I called marlin and the guy that I talked too said that the a w59 tail housing would fit and bolt onto a w58, but he was unsure of what would need to take place to change over the output shafts.
