Phaser similar to the PH-1r but w/o the volume boost?
2012年4月2日 · I love my PH-1r something fierce. It's simple enough with only 3 knobs yet versatile enough with the resonance control. BUT the volume boost has been getting to me lately and though I love the sound it drives my amp too hard when I want to use it on lower gain stuff. What phaser has a similar...
Kinman treble bleed values for 500k pots? - The Gear Page
2015年8月26日 · But the Kinman circuit (.0012uF cap + 130k resistor, in series) is designed for single coil pickups using 250k pots and doesn't seem to work as well with humbuckers and 500k pots. I think I've read that for 500k pots the resistor value should be changed to something like 220k or 250k and that the .0012uF cap would stay the same value.
alumitone with a paf: pots and resistors | The Gear Page
2013年9月20日 · i'm considering replacing the volume pot with a 250k pot so it works with the alumitone. however, it seems that this could adversely affect the signal of my bridge humbucker, so i though of putting a 250k resistor in series between the bridge humbucker and the volume to compensate. 1. will this work? 2. do you have a better idea? 3.
Super Strat Pot Values? - The Gear Page
2015年12月3日 · Two volumes and a master tone could work. I say go for that or the load/resistor trick. -Resistor being my first choice in this case. I think the V70's would prefer to see a bigger cap value than the SSV. You'd have to keep the capacitor on a master tone low for the humbucker.
EMGs; the best Strat tone ever? | Page 2 | The Gear Page
2007年10月29日 · neil, The controls are available separately but they are on the same circuit card in the DG20. I was told by someone at EMG that the very early DG20 sets also used the separate SPC/EXG controls but they soon switched to another card that had both the SPC and EXG on it.
Audio vs linear vol pots - The Gear Page
2009年11月5日 · Putting a resistor across the two hot lugs of an audio volume will "flatten" its curve, reducing the drop; the smaller the resistor, the bigger the difference. about half the pot value seems to be the norm, like 200-300k across a 500k audio taper pot to …
Beware of treble bleed circuits.. psa... - The Gear Page
2009年12月18日 · Over a year ago I switched to a tele for full time gigging (really my only guitar) and lots of hard rock stuff. Put in a resistor and cap for the treble thing and chose the values with the amp on a clean at a low volume. Sounded really good. Also allowed the volume knob to be useful over a wider range. Fast forward to yesterday.
Help! Strat volume knob is basically useless below 8
2020年6月13日 · Beats the heck out of trying to guess the right capacitor and resistor value to use. Made a huge improvement with my '99 standard (stock pups) Reactions: Dusty_Dave , indexless , modavis99 and 1 other person
Fender Tone Saver Circuit - The Gear Page
2015年3月2日 · Experiment with up to a 1000pF cap and down to a 130K resistor. I have a Tele that nailed it with a 1000pF/150K and a Strat with 680pF/130K. Depends on the pickups. For $40, one can have 5 each of the following and a 6-pack to drink while experimenting with combinations that work best in the specific guitar. 330, 470, 680 and 1000pF caps
58/15 lt wiring for coil split? - The Gear Page
2022年8月4日 · I have a 2016 PRS McCarty Double Cut 594 with 58/15 pup's that has a pull-up coil tap on the tone pots for each pickup - I think it takes them to Parallel from the normal Series wiring (there is a slight volume drop when you pull that tap pot, not as severe a drop as most tapped HB's I've encountered), I've also read that PRS puts some kind of resistor on those tap-pots for the 594.
