2019年7月6日 · Go to Advance adapters site as well as Novak conversions site. There is a ton of info there for you to absorb. Add up all of the things to make your conversion complete. V8 power usually requires beefier axles in the rear. Engine cooling needs upgrading. If you are upgrading from a 2.5 motor you will need a better transmission behind the V8.

I've got access to a shop with all the tools needed and a cousin who is pretty good at fabricating. Once complete the jeep will be about 80% on-road and 20% off.

2016年9月21日 · You'll likely spend around the same amount for a basic V8 swap as a 4.0L, since either way you'll need a tranny, engine, manifold, headers, etc with either one. If you decide to do a V8 swap, Novak makes a bolt in engine mount for the 2.5L to 350 swap I believe, whereas us 4.2L and 4.0L have to remove ours and weld some in.
