You can go completely wild and do internal mods (pistons, balance, porting, bigger cam etc.), but that is not the intent of this thread.

2020年11月22日 · I used the comp cam that had .427" intake lift and .454" exhaust lift on my 1984 carbed 2.8 V6 bored .040 over. I also bumped the compression ratio up to 9 to 1. With a free flowing exhaust and intake, running 3.73 gears, it ran like a 4.3 V6.

2004年2月5日 · You will also need to use the mathing intake (genII intake with genII heads, genIII intake with genIII heads), change to DIS ignition etc. I used an '86 2.8 block for my build, but would reccomend starting with a '93 to '95 3.4 block from an F-body, since it is already machined to accept the carnk position sensor.
