2008年2月27日 · You have to catch the front lip of the hood with your thumb and lift. That's the way I do it. There is very little surface there to make hand contact with. I've always wondered why there is not at least a larger lip molded into the hood at that location that would allow for the heel of your hand to open it with.

2000年11月29日 · I removed the fuel line and 3-way valve actuating rod and unbolted the fuel tank support bolts (2) at the bottom against the block. Then you can lift the hood up (easier with 2 people) and over the muffler with the fuel tank still attached to the hood. Once you have the hood off you can get to the upper two fuel tank strap bolts very easily.
