§ 20002a VC – Misdemeanor “Hit & Run” – California Law
Vehicle Code 20002 VC is the California statute that makes it a crime to fail to stop your vehicle, after being involved in an accident, when the accident resulted in some property damage. 1 A prosecutor must prove four things to convict you of misdemeanor hit and run.
