2022年7月4日 · The STS is not the newest fastest thing anymore but that not why I fixed mine. If you have a 3.6l STS with the luxury sport package you have a special car, and its worth all of the work. Little kids love it and I am sure my brother would end me if I sold mine! I have had a few people ask me why I put so much work into my STS.

Re: 2006 cadillac sts P0171 P0174 Those codes are for a vacuum leak or dirty/bad maf sensor as most common cause. Plugs shouldn't through those codes. I'd check the vacuum line elbows and the brake booster lines at the back of the intake manifold.

2007年6月15日 · George - Thank you for the reply. I got to wondering why no one was answering, so I got off my personal rear bumper and went over to Sewell Cadillac in Grapevine. A service tech took me out to the shop and showed me the points of strength on cars on their lifts. We discussed where you do, and where you don't place jack stands.

2023年10月3日 · I have an 06 STS v8 Northstar. Lately I’ve been having issues with the start up. Sometimes it’ll fire rite up off the remote start, sometimes it’ll start off the push to start but 60% of the time it’ll click but not turn and all power goes out.

Up to 4 key fobs may be programmed to the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR). Each programmed key fob is given a position of #1-#4 in the RCDLR memory.

2013年3月7日 · Ok so I have the 2005 3.6l sts I got my new engine in today and it says "starting disabled theft problem" I have tried everything I seen on this site about disabling it. As far as putting the key in the door, pressing the button on the FOB...none of those are working.

2008年2月7日 · 2004 through 2006 the path is: Diagnostics > Select Model Year 2004, 2005 or 2006 > Passenger Car > (6) Cadillac > Y > Vehicle Control Systems > Computer Integrating Systems > Data Display > Body Control Module > Data > Parameter #16 "Park Switch Auto". Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step.
