Midlows are quite a delicate area, something like 200~450Hz. Some stuff really needs to have good representation there- like toms and timpani and bongos and upper part of 303 acid squelches or whatever else- and tons of other stuff don’t need much of …
HDMI to DisplayPort adapter - 200hz refresh rate? : r/Monitors
Mar 2, 2021 · Just got a new ultrawide curved monitor that can go up to 200Hz if using DP. Since my computer doesn't have a DisplayPort output (only HDMI), I can only use the lower refresh rates. This isn't a huge issue, as I can reach about 160~Hz with HDMI, but I'd love to maximize the full potential of this monitor.

Dec 19, 2019 · So I was losing my sanity shopping for PC parts on black Friday, when a post on r/buildapcsales came up - "30 inch UW 200Hz curved monitor for 230$". That was pretty shocking, considering similar items start from some 350-400$, let alone 200Hz.
200hz vs. 240 Does it even matter? : r/FortniteCompetitive - Reddit
I stream some competitive cups but mostly stream pubs, mostly so I didn't lose frames etc. That was back when I had a 1660ti and a 144hz monitor. Yesterday I upgrade to 2070 and 240hz monitor. BUT when I stream my frames are only constant if I play at 200hz, but, off-stream i can play with a constant 240.
What's the point of 200+ Hz monitors? : r/Monitors - Reddit
Jan 14, 2021 · In competitive games it gives a real edge to actually skilled players. For regular casual gamers 60Hz is all they need, they can go to 144 to get better smoothness, but for legit pro players or semi pro players having a higher refresh rate makes a difference, especially in games which involve fast reactions so 360Hz might be legit for some.
ElectriQ 30" 200hz monitor : r/ultrawidemasterrace - Reddit
Feb 11, 2021 · At 200hz it's all gravy though at 8bit saturation is fine! You can also use HDMI 2.0 cable+GPU on HDMI1 port in the monitor and get 200hz 8bit, 144hz 10bit, and even 120hz 12bit in Windows, which for some reason Displayport 1.4 didn't have (good for picture quality, more cinematic Hz wise though.) HDMI can also run over Freesync

Jan 11, 2021 · 200hz curved ultrawide for far cheaper than competitors Stand offers lots of adjustment, and screen rotation (rare at this price) Monitor UI is really nice Cons: Ghosting might be an issue if you're playing games with very fast moving objects, you might be limited to 144hz if you find that to be an issue
200hz or 240hz monitor? : r/buildapc - Reddit
Jan 10, 2024 · Should I buy a 24-inch 200Hz IPS monitor or a 27-inch 240Hz VA monitor? (Both of them are 1080p.) My current monitor is 60Hz, and I don't know if there is a big difference between 240Hz and 200Hz. Some people say that a VA panel is better than an IPS for gaming since there may be some ghosting problems in VA panels.
Overclocked this 7” monitor to 200hz (60hz stock) : r ... - Reddit
so its not actually overclocked but you are just sending a 200hz signal to the monitor and the monitor will still run at its normal 60hz and ignores everything else. this is also why everything looks like crap when its moving quickly and a frame skip test will show that its skipping like crazy.
