Inspect the filter screen located in the engine oil pressure port for any restrictions. Replace or clean screen if dirty - Watch. Tip: Older models may not be equipped with a filter screen. Install the new sensor being careful to align threads correctly. Turn in sensor by hand until in seats against the engine - Watch.

Feb 27, 2021 · It is behind your intake manifold on the drivers side right on the tip top of the back of the black. Most of those oil passages have a through hole that iis plugged off. Look for plugs is the locations of intersections. Pull the plug with the engine off, if it is oily then you have found a port for a gauge. You're right.

The repair manual does not offer another location aside from the oil pressure sensor port for checking oil pressure, but there should also be a plug on the block by the power steering pump that can be removed in order to check oil pressure.
