I have a 2016 R. In mid January I started getting EPC light come on and code was P03AF - Cylinder 3 Pressure to high. This happend twice at high rpm in 2nd and 3rd gear.

2022年9月22日 · I noticed oil consumption is deteriorating for my 2016 Golf R with 220000 km on it. Now it's around 1 L/1300 km, very high. Car idling speed is 700 RPM. Below is my finding: I was suspecting PCV valve problem, so I lifted the engine cover and found no visual clue that PCV valve or hoses nearby have oil leak.

2022年1月2日 · This is my first winter with the R and we just got some nice snow this morning and it handled like a champ compared to my 1.8tsi golf beforehand (still a beast but not as good as the R). Looks are also personal opinion but a 2016 R looks much better than a gti Imo.

(2016 Golf R 6 Sp) Im at 41k kms and the clutch is slipping quite frequently at 2rd through 6th gear like a thousand rpms. Note its stage 1 low torque file as of 39k kms and immediately started slipping, I have a Southbend Stage 3 Daily on hand and am wondering If I should also change it right away or keep the stock one in for a bit.

2021年6月18日 · Plug-n-play OEM upgrade on my 2016 Golf R w/ Fender. The pictures unfortunately don’t do the new screen justice. Much brighter and more vibrant color. The touch response and quality of the glass screen is night and day difference. Love it!

2022年4月5日 · I'm looking a single owner 2016 Golf R, manual trans, non-DCC at local dealer. The car is listed for about 23K. The catch is that it has 125k miles on it. The car is bone stock and appears to be in good condition. I have not yet taken it for a test drive.
