2007年1月3日 · available from mustang venders selling Scot drake products. if you want a 24f battery with the molded in "foot" to accommodate a 65-66 mustang battery tray, excide is the way to go. recently, i purchased a "Bosch" battery from pep boys, and it has the molded foot, and was probably made by exide. it cost about $120.00.

2012年10月25日 · A 22F is hard to find and an inch shorter than a 24F which is why there was a 'long' battery holddown. Hardly any of the new batteries work with either of the holddowns but that is another problem. It would be hard to buy a 24F that was not suitable.

2014年1月17日 · The factory battery holder was designed to hold either the 22F or the 24F battery: one battery holder fit all the cars no matter what engine. There are two holes in it for the battery hold down clamp. The 24F used the 'short' clamp and the 22F used the 'long' clamp since the battery was shorter.
