23 Parachute Field Ambulance, as part of 2 nd Parachute Brigade, deployed to Germany and was stationed at Kingsway Barracks, Rhendsburg in Northern Germany. 2 nd Parachute Brigade now re-titled 16 Independent Parachute Brigade was withdrawn to the UK in November 1949.

The 127th (Parachute) Field Ambulance (127 PFA) was originally a pre war Territorial Army unit and served alongside the 125th and 126th Field Ambulances, and 5th (Western) General Hospital RAMC (Now 207 "Manchester" Field Hospital) in the North West of England.

This group is open to members of 23 PFA old and new, who wouldl ike to share photos, stories etc. Maybe a reunion one day ?
