2017年7月16日 · Seems like a 235/75/15 would really kill performance being so much larger/taller in diameter and obviously rubs. Kinda like peddling a 10 speed bike in 10th gear all the time. Performance will be decreased when diameter is increased. A 235/60/15 is virtually identical in diameter/height to the stock tire. No extra load on the engine/drivetrain.

2024年12月26日 · I thought they would fit a stock height suspension CR-V from other posts on the forum. Then I viewed numerous videos of modified CR-Vs with 2" & 3" lifts and more suspension alterations to fit the 235/75R15 tire size. I need 5 new tires and use the CR-V for errands at our beach Baja house.

2021年3月27日 · After searching on the net in general for tyre sizes that would fit, I arrived at the conclusion that 215/75/R15's would fit a 2nd Gen. However, when they arrived this morning (Falken Wildpeak A/T 215/75/R15) and 'eye-balling' them before having them fitted, they look too big.

2008年8月3日 · Yes I erroneously used the size of Turk's tire; 215/75/15. The reasoning is still valid for Turk. Surprisingly for you jagermeister a 215/65/16 has a smaller diameter than the equivalent width in a 15" rim but with a 75 profile.

2020年4月26日 · I think the 215/75/15's look fantastic on the first Gen's...the improvement in curbside appeal is VERY significant. I recently replaced the tires on my '98 with Cooper Evolution 215/70/15's(been running with that size for 20 years) and I did consider going with 215/75's this time but eventually decided to stick with 215/70's.

2020年8月28日 · ok guys, this is the largest tire on a 16" wheel that fit the 2nd gen CRV without any modifications to the car. no rubbing. 235-70-16, which is quite larger than 225-70-16 when you put them side by side. the reason I am using 16s is that there are no all terrain tires in these dimensions using 17 or larger wheels.
