The 1:250,000-scale (100K) U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) quadrangle boundary data set contains information on, (1) The approximate boundaries of the various 250K USGS quadrangles, and (2) the names and indexing codes associated with each 250K quadrangle.

Notes: The paper maps were scanned at 400 ppi, 8-bit (256 color). The scans were then geo-referenced using a 1st order or 2nd order polynomial transformations in Blue Marble Geographics Transformer.
