Feb 9, 2020 · Well-Known Member Feb 10, 2020 #4 I can't speak to truly fat 27.5 tires, but I am a big fan of 27.5 x 3.8 on my Ice Cream Truck for 3 season use. Makes the bike feel more like a forgiving trail bike in non-snow conditions. I'm running Bontrager Hodags which I really like also.

Nov 19, 2024 · 27.5 x 4.5 Barbegazi on 90mm rims roll faster than the JJ’s in sand/snow but you need to mind the pressure . Due to the longer contact patch you can run 1psi more than you’d expect. Because of the amount of siping on the Barbegazi it grips well in damp trail conditions and has good year round traction.
