2015年12月23日 · Just like endlive, I ended up going with the 275/65/20 BFG ko2's. The 285s were almost 300 more for the set. I would have gone taller but the selection in the taller sizes was very limited, and didnt have any of the specific tires i was looking at.

2020年1月15日 · It took a lot of research and a bit of trust but finally pulled the trigger on BFG T/A in 285/65/20 on stock rims. Got the leveling Bilstein 5100 shocks up front. Actual outside diameter is just over 34”. No rubs and plenty of room so far! Love being on BFGs again.

2016年6月13日 · Agree, from what I've read 285/65/20 is the way to go if you want to max out the size and have no changes to the stock vehicle besides a leveling kit. Do you know how many much the height of your vehicle went up from the stock 275/60/20? Fitting the truck in the garage may be pretty tight....

2016年12月7日 · I just had a set of BFG All Terrain TA's in 285-65-20 installed on my 2016 Bighorn, which is a 4x4. The only suspension modification to the truck is installation of McGaughy's 2" rear lowering/leveling springs and this makes no difference from stock where tires in this size are concerned.

Bilsteins at 2.1" w 285/65/20 KO2s. Fuel took a hit when I did the Bilsteins. maybe 1pmg or something. And again when I put 285/60 Duratracs on. Again, maybe 1mpg. And again when I went to these tires. maybe another half or 1mpg. Tough to say exactly, but I average around 18 liters per hundred and my commute is 40-45klms each way and mostly hwy.

I was looking into this tire vs the 285/65/20 BFG AT/KO and was leaning towards the duratrac because I have 3.55 gears and I wouldn't have to reset my speedo. Let me know if I'm wrong. But to answer your question, I haven't heard of anyone having to run spacers to fit either one of those sizes.

2017年11月16日 · A guy from our local Ram club works at a tire store and is recommending going with a 285-65-20 as opposed to stock size and says they won't rub even on a stock truck. Price difference between the stock size and the 285's is about 400 bucks, but still a lot cheaper than I could get anywhere else locally.
