Looks like i’ve persuaded a few mates to do the Dirty 130 next year for the first time. I’ll be riding my 29er hardtail, and looking for an excuse to buy a new set of tyres for the event.

The issue is how well supported a big volume 29er tyre will be by the width of rim you've got. Depending on the width of your FSA wheels you're probably OK with 2" tyres. Posted 14 years ago
