The 2A36 Giatsint-B (Russian: Гиацинт; "Hyacinth") is a Soviet towed 152 mm (6.0 in) field gun which entered service in 1976, replacing the 130 mm (5.1 in) M-46 field gun.

2025年1月21日 · In the mid-seventies, the Soviet army adopted the 152-mm towed gun 2A36 "Giatsint-B" and the self-propelled artillery 2S5 Giatsint-S installation with a similar gun. Both models are still in the artillery troops of our army and are actively used.

The 2A36 fires its own range of 152mm ammunition that is not interchangeable with older 152mm ammunition such as used by the D-20. A wide range of ammunition is available and includes HE-Frag, rocket assisted, armor piercing, illumination and smoke. The maximum range is 27 km for standard shells and 40 km for rocket assisted shells.
