2022年9月26日 · Starting out as a 2A531 for the C5, your only two bases are Travis AFB and Dover. Rather slim until you become a 5 level, then you have a wider list to choose from. Travis is one of the better bases since you are in the middle of San Francisco and Sacramento, so there is lots to do off base.

2024年4月19日 · Got the call the other day letting me know I got my #1 pick, 2A531 Airlift/ special mission aircraft maintenance. I’m aware of the both the downsides and upsides to it. I was fortunate enough to be able to go up to my local base and kind of go through a day in a life of it and was able to see the pros and cons.

I’m curious because my recruiter mentioned to be that the job is open and I could ship out in December, which would be super awesome because I swore in literally today and I’m T2 so snagging that job would be nice because I don’t want to be in the DEP for almost 6 months.
