Granted the right company will pay for them but I feel going this route would give me a far better experience than working a civilian job. I understand 2A7X1 (from what I've read) is not just welding nor just machining.

2023年10月25日 · So I got assigned my job to 2A7X3 and i ship in November. Now Im not super mad but i really wanted 2A7X1. Ive always wanted to be a machinist since i was a kid. (Im prob going to use my GI bill to learn Machining if it doesnt work out) BUT my main question is, how hard is it to crosstrain from one maintence job to another at the 3 year mark?
