2017年9月7日 · The best alternative I can build is a E36 with a 2JZ GTE VVTI swap. The engine I have soured is a JDM 2J. From what i have managed to find the USDM and the JDM 2JZ GTE engines have slight differences to the OEM turbo setups and the USDM being MAF and JDM being MAP. My goal is to build a 600-700WHP E36 M3 by swapping in a 2JZ GTE VVTI engine.

2013年12月23日 · I do miss my 99 e36 which had the 3.2 You happen to know weight diff b/w the 3.0 and 3.2 compared to the 2jz? I've read a ton of things, but most seem to indicate a 2JZ is in the 550lb range (w/o trans) whereas the S52 is in the 400lb range (w/o trans). My last M3 sedan had a built S52 and T3 GT35R that put down 535whp and 545wtq at 22psi.

2005年3月28日 · KozanBMW has a M3 with a 2jz. Suprising the motor mounts are failry close. a 2Jz will fit in a Z3 no problem in theory. but you still have that goofy floating rear and a few other hurdles to get over.
