The student ministry of Second Presbyterian Church’s main goal is to come alongside parents in the discipling of their sons/daughters in hopes of furthering their commitment to Christ, commitment to the body of Christ, and commitment to the work of Christ in the world.

Our two-year resident program is an opportunity for college graduates who are considering full-time youth ministry. The residency provides exposure to both middle school and high school ministry for those seeking to find where God might be calling them.

The goal of the Youth Ministry at 2PC is to lead students in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, the church, and His work in the world. From 6th grade to college, students have an opportunity to get involved in a 2PC community.

The goal of True North is that students would come to know Christ as their personal Savior and Lord, grow in a relationship with Christ, and share the love of Christ with others. True North is the Senior High Ministry of Second Presbyterian Church.

Youth mission trips at Second Presbyterian Church provide opportunities for young people to serve and grow in their faith.

Our youth serve as ushers, liturgists, and musicians in worship. Confirmation class for 8th grade+ students who have not yet been confirmed will begin soon. There are multiple ways for youth to volunteer throughout the year and each summer at VBS. We participate in week 2 of the Montreat Youth Conference and the Middle School Conference in July.
