The 2S30 Iset is an improved version, prototype only, self-propelled 155 mm howitzer of the 2S19 Msta. Being on the air and space show in Zhukovsky near Moscow and later on the IDEX 93 exhibition in Abu Dhabi, the 2S19 MSTA was introduced in August 1992, it showed a lot of interest in acquiring seeds of the howitzer.
