2012年12月5日 · I think the 2SA995 is a different pin layout than the 2SA979. IIRC, the 2SA995 has the bases tied together and is for cascoding/current mirroring. The 2sa979 has the emitters tied together and is for the diff pair.

2024年1月20日 · note, the pair of ksa992's replace Q1, a 2sa979 which has two transistors internally, and five external leads. Q2(offset) changes at the same time, to a ksc1845. Q8(protection) also changes at the same time, to a ksc1845. these two are changed WITH Q1. Q1 would be the noisy one.

Candidate would be the differential pair transistors W301, Q302(2SA979), these can be replaced with a hfe matched pair of KSA992. Do you have the required tools. First up remeasure the offset on both channels.

2015年11月13日 · Thanks Dave, I already noted that and ordered the KSC1845 for my B-2 I did not want to change his list. Also, I saw in couple of places and this list, the suggested replacement for 2SC1451/1452 to be KSC3503.

2015年12月16日 · I had a 2SA979 (similar) the other day giving me grief on an SX-1980. I still have some original NOS, but they can range from perfect to noisy too. IME, black lead disease is the biggest killer of them.
