2011年3月15日 · 2zz Swap complete Just finished the 2zz swap. Resolved the flange issue by buying a complete midpipe with cat from a junkyard. Had an issue with the Idle Air Control Valve, was able to get a replacement from the guy who sold us the JDM engine, although it was initially seized, a bit of WD-40 did the trick to loosen it up.

2002年9月15日 · i once had a 96 rolla. i was going to throw the jdm levin/trueno 4a in it. it's 170 stock and it's ready to either sc or turbo. i still think the ulimate swap for our cars (celi or rolla) would be the 3s-gte!!! why do a 2zz? of couse it's more power than the 1zz, but like i said, if someone's going to do a swap, go for the best.

2012年10月1日 · To begin, my car is a corolla 2003, i bought a full swap kit from japan that was in a Celica GT-S (the 2ZZ-GE) and the ecu that came with the kit is suppose to the one that matches the engine. When i came to pluging everything i noticed that the wires coming from the engine plug in perfectly yet those of the corolla dash do not.

2004年7月12日 · Here are the pics - they are big so you can see details. Reference the fit of the 1ZZ gasket to teh 1ZZ block and head and then look at how it fits the 2ZZ head. You will see the 2ZZ head is noticeably wider than the 1ZZ block itself and various oil passages and coolant passages would be hanging off into space.

2013年9月16日 · The MWR 2zz swap kit is supposed to come with: 2zz engine w/ wiring harness, alternator, intake and exhaust manifolds, throttle body, injectors, coils, power steering pump, and OEM flywheel (used) 2zz passenger side engine mount (engine side, not chassis side) 2000 2zz USDM ECU; My kit came with a power steering pump with a bent pulley.

2010年5月7日 · this week i finished my 2ZZ-GE engine for the swap. i have a 2000 GTS ECU + knock sensor and my problem or not is the ecu anti-theft. MWR tells me the oem GTS ECU hasn't a anti-theft. can i get problems with my old GT car-key and the new GTS ECU and the anti-theft? can i start my engine without problems? i hope anybody can help me?

2006年2月12日 · 5. 2zz gets good gas mileage! 6. I prefer n/a over f/i. 7. etc. Many things that were already covered @ 6gc on why 2zzge would be a good/bad swap. Lots of arguments came out of it: 3sgte vs 3sge (beams vvt-i) vs 4age black/silvertop vs 4ag(z)e. There were over 100+ replies on this and 85% of them were deleted because they were irrelevant.
