The Pilot has the newer DOHC V6 with 10-speed transmission. The Passport still uses the older SOHC V6 with 9-speed transmission. The older SOHC is V-Tech and has been used for awhile on a ton of vehicles.

2020年11月8日 · The water pump on the longitudinally mounted 3.5L V6 like the F-150 is external, not internal like on FWD applications, therefore you do not need to worry about coolant leaking into the oil. Coolant hoses is an age thing not a mileage thing, as are most other rubber parts (belts, bushings, seals, etc) Good luck with the truck!

2021年3月11日 · Just my personal opinion, but I think the 15-16 3.5 Ecoboost is the most problem free out of all the years. 11-14 had condensation issues. 17-19 have cam phaser, rattle noise issues.
