Any help from anyone that can educate me on the differences between these two engines would be much appreciated.

2019年5月7日 · Note that was the Gen I 3.6L; the Gen II 3.6L (JL Series Jeeps) has only been specified to use 0W-20. Unlike some engines which are specified to use a thinner oil in the US to comply with CAFE regulations and thicker oils elsewhere in the world, I could find no reference to thicker oil use anywhere including Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.

2023年3月16日 · It's every 3.6L application. Long idle times, such as cop cars, have this issue prematurely, as well. Jeep is likely going to perform the cam replacement and then re-evaluate the engine replacement after they try the cheaper repair first.

2023年7月30日 · For the record, I have a 2019 2 door Sport 3.6L Auto (non-eTorque), lifted on 35's with stock gearing and have absolutely no issues with its get-up-and-go. But without lockers I really like the ability to be absolutely disciplined with applied torque at the low end to keep my wheels from breaking free (slipping) due to any turbo boost.
