Why does 30 fps remain the target framerate? : r/gaming - Reddit
Because every game will set their own target when it starts development. And with the CPU constraints of consoles a game that wants to have a high level of detail, open world, many characters on screen etc will be CPU limited and therefore built to hit 30 fps. Games made by Rockstar are a good example for being CPU limited to 30 fps because of ...
how is 30 fps "bad"? : r/gaming - Reddit
2019年11月30日 · A stable 30 fps isn't really a big problem, of course I would trade 60 fps becoming the stable for any game on consoles any day but I'd say it's playable, still 30 fps is s big problem for some people, it's the perfect fps for motion sickness
Console/Xbox Series X/S players, some tips to enjoy 30 fps
2023年7月2日 · I beat Jedi Survivor with 30 fps. IMHO its Resolution Mode is far better than the performance mode. Super crisp looking with the beautiful ray tracing. I even played 250 hours or so Forza Horizon 5 with 30 fps before I realize I forgot to set it to 60 fps. I know lots of ppl hate 30 fps. But frame rates will not stop me from playing great games.
Am I one of the few PC gamers who finds 30 FPS acceptable?
In fact, I would say its more peasantry to only play on PC due to performance and graphics rather than the freedom and flexibility. I am saying rather does anyone else find 30 FPS to be playable. That is a different conversation entirely. In fact, had you read the original post I made I flat out said 30 FPS caps are bad.
30 fps feels laggy on pc? : r/pcgaming - Reddit
In my experience, the best thing to do for 30 FPS gaming on an NVIDIA GPU is to use NVIDIA Inspector to set the game's profile to use: maximum number of pre-rendered frames "1" and set V-Sync to "1/2 Refresh Rate" - assuming a 60Hz display. This will minimize latency while also providing 30 FPS gameplay with good frame-pacing.
30 FPS : r/darksouls - Reddit
2023年4月15日 · If the game is built around it, it will show the game to the player that was intended by the developer. The 30 FPS seems to contribute to a cinematic, or dream-like, effect. While 30 FPS can often be used as an excuse by developers, I legitimately think there is a reason for targeting it other than wanting to pump visuals on limited hardware.
30 FPS Is Not Unplayable : r/NintendoSwitch - Reddit
2019年9月5日 · “Unplayable” is an exaggeration, but it’s also subjective. 30 FPS is fine until you’ve played the same game in 60, in which case 30 would then feel clunky by comparison. It also depends on the game. I think adventure games fare better in 30 FPS than shooting or racing games. It’s a case-by-case thing
After seeing side by side comparisons of 30 fps vs 60 fps in
Nope there is nothing special to it. 24 fps in movies and 30 fps in games are just cost cutting measures. Considering how long it can take to render a single frame in a big budget movie adding more fps would increase it's production cost by a lot. Same with video games. Going from 30 to 60 fps requires a lot more performance from the cpu and gpu.
(release) TotK Dynamic FPS v1.5.4 (support for v1.2.0 game
DynamicFPS 1.5.4 doesn't work at all - it doesn't give me 60 FPS (it's 30 FPS locked instead) and I did everything according to the instructions. I really tried to figure this out, but no dice. 1.5.3 + 60fps Static still works, so I'm gonna stay on that version for now.
Do you consider 30 fps playable? : r/gaming - Reddit
2021年6月24日 · yes, absolutely, as long as it’s reasonably locked. only really have an issue when there’s slowdown and it drops down near 20, or even into the teens. 60fps or greater is preferable and I’ll use that option if available, but if it’s only 30 it won’t stop me playing.
