Put a 350 w/9:6:1 hypers, stock heads, ran a Comp Computer cam (dont know why, seemed like a good idea at the time), RPM, and stock Q-Jet. I used Edelbrock headers for a 5.7 Iroc (bigger). All emission stuff hooked back up, carb was computer controlled.

2010年10月3日 · The Hurst/Olds and 442's got the Olds 307 HO, essentially US cars with different speedo's. That must be rare as most just got the run of the mill 305's. I know of no Cutlass's or Regal's up here that got the 305 HO. The Monte is a different story.

2008年8月12日 · As for specs, it is an RPO LG4 305. It has about 150hp stock vs 180-190hp for a G code L69 305 HO. The L69 had bigger valves, higher compression, and a 350 cam in it to make the extra power. The L69 also had the larger oval inlet cat and free-er flowing exhaust.

2009年10月18日 · let me correct myself, a regular 305 of the same era was rated at 165 hp so it's a 20hp difference, I'm not going to knock you for wanting a 305 but you are not saving much at all, after you get the block machined, the rebuild kit cost the exact same price, so you should keep a look out for a 350.

I will let it go at that, but don't tell me you have a Z28 Iroc 305 HO with crossfire injection and expect me to stand at attention. Not gonna happen. The motor was ecomony minded, period. Its still made of pig iron like all the other hecho in mexico.
