Thoughts on upgrading from a 3070 to 4070 super? : r/nvidia
I am also using 3070. And to be honest , 4070 super is very attractive to me. I got a very good deal, 15% discounted. However i canceled my order After i realized that my 3070 still can run most games at 4k >60fps, in medium to high settings with dlss. only some broken title like starfield, hogwarts that it may struggle.
Should I upgrade from RTX 3070 Ti to 4070 Super? : r/nvidia - Reddit
Consider that the 3080ti, launched at 1200 USD, is now trounced by the 3070 Super at half the price and half the power usage. Additionally, people don’t realize how starved out the mid to low end of the GPU market is. What this means is a last gen x070 card usually sells for close to half its MSRP when the next gen x070 comes out.

2024年1月18日 · In conclusion, no, don't do this, 3070 is holding pretty strong at 1440p and the best upgrade would be a 5070 with 16gb vram and more than 100% performance increase over 3070. Oh and let's not forget the new tech the 5000 series will bring, maybe dlss 4.0 or PTX or whatever they'll call it.
Upgrading from RTX 3070 to 4070, is it worth it? : r/nvidia - Reddit
I went from 3070 to 4070, I'd say such an upgrade is not worth it (I play 1080p). Did it because I wanted to give my partner 3070 as she was on 1660 super. The lower power consumption of 4070 is nice, and frame generation is insane, but overall …

Generally if you monitor your card in games its frequency will sit in certain bounds, this will differ per game but you can get a general ballpark number that way.
Rtx 3080 ti vs rtx 4070 super : r/nvidia - Reddit
The 4070 Super is way more powerful on RT and AI related tasks. This is why I personally wanted to upgrade 3080 Ti to 4080 Super. I would have even changed/upgraded to 4070 Super instantly if it was cheap upgrade (new 3 year warranty, new hardware, no worries, resell value, lower wattage, less heat, etc.).
Those of you using a 3070 for 3440x1440, how's it going in
2021年6月20日 · Either way, the difference between the 3070 and 3080 isn't going to be earth shattering. I then went and checked some regular 1440p benchmarks (which I get would be less demanding) and it didn't reassure me either. If 3070 @ 1440p benchmarks aren't reassuring to you, then even a 3090 would disappoint you at 3440x1440.
3070 ti vs 4070 ti super : r/nvidia - Reddit
I went from a 3070 ti to a 4070 ti super, playing on 4k monitor. The improvement was pretty significant, but not in terms of actual graphic settings. I went from approximately 80 fps high/ultra settings with dlss performance to 100+fps with all maxed settings on dlss quality, with the option for ray tracing and FG.
