2018年5月16日 · I've read an opinion that after some motorway driving at steady speeds and then coming to a standstill, the oil pressure can drop causing the error code. This can be as a result of a faulty/worn hydraulic valve as mentioned in my earlier post. Will update my findings for any future forum members searching in future.

2014年6月29日 · I took it to a BMW specialist who hooked it up to the computer which returned the following codes - 30C1 Engine oil pressure control, static & 29CE combustion misfires, cylinder 2. The garage suggested replacing all 4 injectors and/or the coils and plugs.

2024年11月26日 · The engine still run smooth like nothing happens, but the warning keeps coming. Scanned it with obd scanner and the fault codes are “30C1 Engine Oil Pressure Control, Static” and “30C4 Engine Oil Pressure Control, Mechanical”. 2021年10月16日 · Correct plugs for N43 are NGK spark plug ZKBR7A-HTU. The Bosch ones you have fitted when compared to these are different length which guarantees misfires will be present. Assuming your oil strainer isn't full of rubbish and your oil filter housing cap has fresh orings then your 3C01 will almost certainly be the oil pressure control valve.

At first I believed I may have put in the oil filter wrong however changing the oil filter again and doing it properly resulted in the oil pressure light not going away.

2020年1月27日 · 4th July 2020 UPDATE: I replaced the Thermostat (pain), used 7.2L of blue BMW coolant and bleed the system and error code went way. Replaced the oil pressure sensor and the oil red light is gone. Also changed: Oil Filter Housing Gasket + Cooling Gasket Rocker Cover Gasket + High Pressure Fuel Pump Gaskets New Shell Helix Ultra EC3 BMW Oil BB-LL04

2022年7月12日 · 30C1 is oil pressure and 30E9 is the NOx catalytic converter degrading. They are separate faults and need to be diagnosed separately as both have several possible causes, some of them a bit wild (30E9 may be caused by a failing coolant thermostat among other things).

2017年11月4日 · I ran a diagnostic using the Carley adapter and got the fault code 0030C1 engine oil pressure. Looking at the freeze frame info -which I do not know what it means, it gives the following information. I can only assume that what this means is the oil pressure dropped below the stated value. Is that right? What I have to now figure out is why.
