.32 S&W vs. .32 AUTO for pistol - The Firearms Forum
2010年2月19日 · The gun was made for the .32 S&W revolver cartridge. If you use .32 ACP, I think you might have the opportunity to see "things falling apart" as the auto pistol cartridge pressure runs 20,500 psi, over 5000 psi more than the revolver cartridge.
7.65 Browning vs 32 Auto question - The Firearms Forum
2019年3月24日 · I don't think 32ACP and 7.65 Browning are quite the same thing. 7.65 Browning seems to be 32 ACP, but 32 ACP does not seem to be 7.65 Browning. Another way to explain that would be that a square (7.65 Browning) is a rectangle (32 ACP), but a rectangle (32 ACP) is not necessarily a square(7.65 Browning).

H&R .32 Auto - The Firearms Forum
2020年11月3日 · I like the H&R .32 auto. They shoot rather well. From a gunsmithing point of view, I think the most significant difference of the H&R from the Webley automatic is the slide return spring. Webley semi auto pistols used a finger/lever connected to a big V spring under the right grip. In contrast, H&R uses coil springs for the slide.

2012年9月6日 · 32 Auto will fit in the gun, and will go off most of the time (the rim is thinner, so the firing pin may not hit the primer as hard), but it's actually a higher pressure load than 32 Long, so it's a bad idea. A few other things: 1) 32 Auto is a shorter round than 32 Long, so you can get a ring of fouling built up that makes it had to chamber 32 ...

2012年8月8日 · The .32 fires a bigger bullet faster than a .22LR 40 grainer. Colt 1903 .32 Rimless Pistol - The Firearms Forum
2021年2月6日 · The 32 ACP is what is called a "semi-rimmed" cartridge. 25 auto, 32 auto, 38 Auto. Because when Mr Browning invented them he discovered that the 25 and the 32 would not stay on the little lip in the chamber, so he gave them just a little bitty bit of a rim to make sure they headspaced correctly.

assembly of Savage Arms .32 auto - The Firearms Forum
2009年12月26日 · That method of attaching the grips was necessary because there was a patent, by a guy whose initials were JMB, on using screws to attach the grips on an auto pistol. He also patented the idea of a slide and breechblock in one piece, which is why Searle had to make his breechblock a separate part.
