The 325th Operations Support Squadron is one of four squadrons assigned to the 325th Operations Group, 325th Fighter Wing, Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. The squadron provides support to U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve F-35A Lightning II pilots.

The 325th Operations Group is responsible for directing the flying and support operations for a F-35A Lightning II fighter squadron and operations support squadron while preparing for the arrival of two additional F-35 squadrons. The 95 th Fighter Squadron is a combat ready F-35 unit.

When the transition is complete, the 325th Fighter Wing will become the Air Force’s newest operational fighter wing with three F-35A squadrons tasked to maintain combat readiness in support of national defense.

The 325th Operations Group is the flying component of the 325th Fighter Wing, assigned to Air Combat Command of the United States Air Force . The group is stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. It conducts training on the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor and commands one operational Raptor squadron.

The 325 FSS is the most widely diverse organization at Tyndall, providing more than 20 different activities to military and family members, as well as authorized civilian customers. Squadron activities generate more than $8 million annually in non-appropriated funds.

The 325 Operations Support Squadron provides support and academic and simulator instruction to all U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve F-15 and F-22 pilots, Air Battle Managers and Airborne Warning and Control System weapons directors.
