Proper Analysis Requires Proper Settings: Hope This...
2024年11月15日 · For example (i'll use REW setting here) if you're sampling at 48kHz and your FFT length is 8kHz, the frequency resolution is about 6Hz (and the length of time for each average is the inverse 6 Hz (1/s) = 0.167 sec per average). Typically in REW you're FFT length is 64k so the freq resolution is 0.75 Hz (0.75 1/s = 1.333 seconds per average).
Got my AF gb12. PORTED OR SEALED? WHAT DOES IT LIKE?
2020年6月5日 · I’ve tried my GB12 sealed and ported and prefer ported. I’ve got a single ported box @ 1.8 cubes tuned to 31.5 Hz with a single 4” round flared port and that box sounds phenomenal and I’ve got another dual GB12 ported box at 3.8 cubes tuned to 30.5 Hz with two 4” round flared ports.

2017年4月9日 · When you open the cabin you're allowing the wavelength to extend out and will often sound like an increase in volume or low end (or both). For contrast, the wave length of a 4,000 Hz note is 0.28 feet and other than diffraction the doors opened or …
LPF needed for 6.5 mid woofer? | DIYMobileAudio.com Car Stereo …
2020年12月25日 · In my previous vehicle, the mids were tested (waterfall plot) to have significant breakup at 9,500 Hz which made anything above 5 K sound terrible which made them sound harsh on vocals, horns, etc. and they overpowered the tweeters. Crossing them over to keep them out of frequencies where they weren't designed to play made a significant difference.

Gain settings and amp vs speaker rms
2017年9月4日 · well looking at the specs of your amp, it does 50x4 RMS or 200x2 RMS bridged at 4ohms, your component system with crossover is ratted at 85rms (woofer is 3 ohms + crossover adding 1 ohm = 4ohm <varify with volt meater>) so if you just wanted to run in bridged 2way config, you would set the gain to 18.44 volts at max clean volum (85x4=340 squared = 18.44) <i suggest to tune gain by ear but I ...
