2017年1月2日 · The TA block has thicker main bearing web castings for using 4 bolt main caps and was cast with a higher-nickel content for added strength. Operating dimensions are the same as the regular 340 block. Yes, dealers did not always use TA blocks and heads for under warranty repairs. Hope this helps clear this up. Happy New year.

2010年12月24日 · Block has 340TA cast into the side and, the most obvious, OEM application was in T/A Challengers and AAR Barracudas with a 6 pack set-up. The latter is not a ta block. Decent ta blocks are anywhere from 1500-3000. Yours being the lower end more likely because of the bore. The TA and AAR guys are the ones that are after them.
