I find their formula to be a bit off, a 3db increase is a doubling of acoustic power but not of how the ear perceives it, 3db is a noticable increase in sound pressure. 10db is a doubling of how sound is perceived by your ears, 100db is loud, 110db is way loud, 120 is way, way loud, 130db is too fucking loud, etc, etc.

2004年6月28日 · If the DB work has any sort of complexity, it's likely to be the bottleneck. If you re going to have multiple DBs with some sort of replication scheme between them, consider your options carefully. If you re trying to replicate data in a live fashion across all the DBs, the performance will likely scale quite badly with additional machines.
