2021年10月1日 · I think 38 is a great middle ground of stiffness and compliance. I think the extra stiffness also helps the fork perform better as it slides through the bushings.

2022年9月13日 · The main difference is that 36 is for the diameter on the stanchions and 38 means it 38mm. First 38s had the bleeding valves so you burp your fork to equalize pressures and the 36 didn’t come with that but the new forks both comes with those valves.

2021年10月4日 · So the Scott has 160mm of travel of Fox 36's - that's a fairly heavyweight fork for most people - if you are a hard rider then you might want 38's but as you are a novice rider I'd say you are good to go.

In a nutshell if you're running over 160mm of travel or are a heavier or more aggressive rider, the 38 is your fork. However if you're running under 160mm or are a lighter or less aggressive rider, the 36 might be the best bet!
