Print Your Own Flexures - Hackaday
2021年6月23日 · Game developer and eternal learner [David Tucker] just posted a project where he’s making linear flexures on a 3D printer. Tinkerer [Tucker] wanted something that would be rigid in five of...
Putting the flex on flexures - Hackaday.io
A unique way to add linear motion to a 3D print without using any external hardware. Making a 3D part move in only one of the 6 degrees of motion typically requires external hardware that is precisely made.
Linear displacement and force characterisation of a 3D-printed flexure ...
2022年9月5日 · In this paper, a piezoelectric-actuated delta-robot actuator is proposed for probe-based confocal laser endomicroscopy (pCLE) microsystems. A prototype is designed and fabricated using three-dimensional (3D) polymer compound printing for a multi-flexure compliant motion amplifier and commercial piezoelectric beams.
3D Printed Flexure Shows Precision In Action - Hackaday
2022年6月3日 · [Topias Korpi] demonstrates a 3D printed flexure with a dial indicator on one end, and an M3 screw on the other. As the screw is turned, the dial indicator moves steadily with roughly a 15:1...
The OpenFlexure project
An open-source, 3D-printed microscope, including a precise mechanical stage to move the sample and focus the optics. A 3D-printed delta-geometry stage, suitable for motorised microscopy with maximum stability. A 3D printable stage including sub-micron mechanical positioning, with a focus on good mechanical stability.
A one-piece 3D printed flexure translation stage for open-source ...
2016年2月8日 · We have implemented flexures in a 3D printed structure, using a design optimised for printed plastic rather than metal. The result is a highly stable and precise translation stage with a greater range than equivalently sized metal flexures.
OpenFlexure Microscope
This design for a 3D printed microscope stage uses plastic flexures, meaning its motion is free from friction and vibration. It achieves steps well below 100 nanometers when driven with miniature stepper motors, and is stable to within a few microns over several days.
The Actuation Mechanism of 3D Printed Flexure-Based Robotic ...
2019年7月14日 · Here, we report design, fabrication, and testing of a 3D printed, flexure-based actuation mechanism using a piezo bimorph actuator. The mechanism is intended for microtweezers targeted for micro/meso-scale (100 μm to 1 mm) samples.
3D Printed Precision Linear Motion Flexure by Barry Maxwell
Be the first to upload a Print for this Design! Approximately 1 micron resolution linear motion in one part. Flexures are great! This kind of thing is often used for adjusting optical paths, where you would mount a lens or a mirror on the gantry and the optical leverage over a long distance would require fine adjustability.
OpenFlexure Block Stage
The OpenFlexure Block Stage is a 3D printable design that enables very fine (sub-micron) mechanical positioning of a small moving stage, with surprisingly good mechanical stability. You can read about it in the Optics Express article (open access).
